Isidingo Electrical has established an infrastructure to supply MV and LV cables of all kinds.
We had a one year contract to supply cables to Westonaria Local Council.
In 2004 Isidingo Electrical will expand this area of business to include other Local Authorities or Metros, because our prices are competitive with other Electrical Wholesalers.
Using the same infrastructure and general approach as for cut-offs and reconnection, to offer the teams required to provide the meter reading service.
A major difference would be the increased size of the teams required to execute the work.
Where meters are obsolete or need to be changed from conventional to pre-paid, or where refurbishment takes place, to provide the teams required to change the meters.
This is a once-off activity to update the network drawings, report on equipment, configuration and safety issues in line with Client and statutory standards.
The next logical step would be to refurbish the network in line with the report recommendations and Client’s requirements.
